The Graduate Studies Division organised a talk for all honours year students on Tuesday, 11 September 2012 , 3pm at Seminar Room B, AS7.
Spending two more years at NUS for a Masters degree might be the last thing honours year students might be thinking of at this point in year 4. But we were very pleased that a handful were considering the possibility and we, in the Graduate Studies Division were there to provide a chance for those who were interested to get more information. Assistant Dean of Graduate Studies, Associate Professor Bruce Lockhart shared an overview of FASS Masters programmes and what was involved in terms of coursework, thesis research, tutoring etc. The session ended with a round of Question and Answer session, followed by more discussions over tea.
For those who have missed the session, you may wish to refer to the Slides and Handout that were distributed to the students. In addition to these, students received a copy of the FASS Courseguide which is also available online here.
