PolyU Global Student Challenge (GSC)

Warmest greetings from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University!

I have pleasure in introducing to you two videos featuring students’ experiences and the PolyU Global Student Challenge (GSC) – a global business plan competition.

The online registration deadline for the same competition in June 2011 will be 31 October 2010, which is less than 2 months away.  We hope that you could encourage your students to form their own team and represent your institution well in this truly global competition.   Your team will definitely play good ambassador of your institution amongst their peers from around the world in this platform.  All qualified members of the shortlisted teams will be sponsored for the flight and accommodation to/from Hong Kong for competing at the Semi/Final competition plus taking part in an array of activities throughout their stay.

For further information and to register, please visit the competition website:  www.polyu.edu.hk/polyuchallenge.    Should you have any queries at all, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

I hope you will enjoy the videos, thank you for your attention and I shall look forward to your positive reply.

Best regards,

Hung

TATA Crucible Singapore Campus Quiz 2010

edm

The TATA Crucible Singapore Campus Quiz is back again this year for the 4th time.

The Tata Crucible Campus Quiz seeks to bring together the sharpest young Singaporean minds in a business quiz that tests their speed of thought. It’s a quiz with multiple rounds of video and audio-visual questions from the world of business administered to participants in teams of two from the same college/institution. The quiz is conducted by the witty Quiz Master, Giri Balasubramanium a.k.a. Pickbrain.

The Tata Crucible Campus Quiz offers a unique opportunity to Singapore’s student community to involve themselves with the subject of international business, in an engaging and intellectually stimulating contest. It comes from Tata group of companies, which has its own structured engagement activities for global talent development (including an International Internship Program and MoUs with a number of universities including SMU, NUS and NTU). Thus, the Tata Crucible Campus Quiz adds value to the students.

Last year, NUS was the ultimate winner for the Singapore Leg.
