During my graduate studies in NUS, the rich diversity of perspectives in the modules on offer, as well as the intellectual knowledge and engagement of the professors in FASS, prepared me well for my current job as assistant professor in a highly interdisciplinary academic programme. This stimulating graduate experience, in which respect for diversity and productive academic engagement were main ingredients, I now in turn try to recreate for my own students in FASS.
