The FASS Deanery would like to have a chat with YOU – our FASS undergraduates!
This chat session is an excellent opportunity for us, at the FASS Dean’s Office, to get to know you better. Over drinks and snacks, we would like to find out more about your expectation of the education and learning experience at FASS, your campus life, your likes and dislikes, and any other concerns you and your friends might have. It is OUR way to stay connected with YOU!
Four chat sessions will be organised for you in Semester 1 AY 2010/11. It is a small dialogue group with a Deanery Member meeting up to 20 students per session. We hope you will join us for one of the four sessions for an informal chat.
Sessions 1 and 2 will be taking place at Seminar Room B, Blk AS7, while Sessions 3 and 4 will be online. A little overview of the 4 sessions planned for you:
1. Session 1 – General Chat Session with Vice Dean A/P T C Chang
2. Session 2 – A special focus on campus residents. If you reside on campus and wish to share your thoughts, experiences and concerns with us, please register for this session to have a chat with Assistant Dean A/P Sim Tick Ngee.
3. Session 3 – Facebook Feedback and MSN Chat session. This is open to Arts1 students only. Topic for discussion will be FASS Freshmen Orientation Talks 2010.
Facebook – You are welcome to post your feedback on the discussion thread here. Please add us in Facebook (Fass Book) before posting your comments between now and 13 October 2010.
MSN Chat – Please add us (fassdc@hotmail.com) to begin your chat with Assistant Dean A/P Vincent Ooi, on 13 October 2010 between 4 and 5pm.
4. Session 4 – General e-Chat Session. This is an online chat session with Vice Dean A/P Paulin Straughan, where you will be asked to log in to the campus environment (IVLE) to participate. Further instructions will be sent to students who register for Session 4.
Registrations are on a first-come-first-served basis, and you will receive an auto-reply upon successful registration. If the session is already fully subscribed, you will receive a prompt to select one of the two options – to be placed on the waiting list or to register for another session.
