Faculty E-learning Support Initiative & Software support

CIT and the Faculty IT Units have been working hand in hand to provide IVLE and general e-learning support to academic staff.

The Faculty E-learning Support Initiative is a co-operative effort to help faculty with their IT in teaching queries. The major Faculties have each been allocated a contact person from CIT, who work closely with their respective Faculty IT Units to answer questions, provide support and present possibilities for IT in teaching and learning.

The Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences and the School of Business have dedicated e-learning support e-mail addresses: and respectively. Faculty can use these e-mail addresses for service requests or IVLE user support. These are handled by the Faculty IT Units directly with CIT's support.

CIT appreciates that the managers and coordinators of the Faculty IT Units have made their staff available to work with us. Nikki Chiang (BIZ), Zhang Lihai (ENG), John Yap (FASS), Za'aba Bin Abdul Rahim (MED) and Pearlyn Ang (SDE) are the Faculty IT Unit staff who liaise frequently with their CIT counterparts. They ensure that staff queries are answered promptly and accurately.
