Macromedia Studio MX 2004 for an unbelievable price

Staff and students can rejoice as Macromedia has priced their Studio MX 2004 suite at $65.

Available at the NUS Co-op, this special price represents excellent value for money for four creative software tools which usually cost $338.

This promotion is a Computer Centre initiative which ties in nicely with CIT's objective of getting good and easy to use content authoring tools into the hands of the staff and students.

Macromedia Studio MX 2004 is more than a good content authoring tool. It is a comprehensive and powerful software suite consisting of Flash MX 2004, Dreamweaver MX 2004, Freehand MX 2004 and Fireworks MX 2004, covering the gamut of creative content production.

Flash MX 2004 allows users to create ubiquitous .swf files, commonly known as Flash animations. These add punch to websites and presentations, across applications and devices.

Website creation is made a cinch with Dreamweaver MX 2004. This version of Dreamweaver adds sophisticated support for Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and cross-browser validation, enabling websites that will look good in any leading browser.

Freehand MX 2004 is the tool for creative design and layout for print. Brochures, posters, storyboard and newsletters are among the many printed materials that Freehand can help produce.

The last piece of the Studio MX 2004 jigsaw is Fireworks MX 2004. This graphic design software enables the creation of bitmap and vector graphics which can be used in Freehand MX 2004 and Dreamweaver MX 2004 or even exported as a Flash file.

These tools are highly integrated, presenting users with an almost unlimited virtual canvas so that you can express your passion. Those new to these software can attend free two-hour training courses run by Macromedia in NUS. Staff can also access the Learning Internet Portal for interactive online courses for Dreamweaver MX and Flash MX.
