Our recent chapter written on invitation on Process economics and feasibility of subcritical & supercritical fluid processingfor Elsevier is now available online ( This chapter looks into aspects of process design and economics of supercritical processes, and highlights the implications for scale-up for supercritical technologies.


Our recent review article on “Microencapsulation and Nanoencapsulation Using Supercritical Fluid (SCF) Techniques” explains and summarizes the various techniques of encapsulation using supercritical carbon dioxide. We explained the different roles that can be played by supercritical carbon dioxide in designing encapsulation processes to achieve the desired formulation, including foaming and drying.
