Post-doctoral Research Fellow

Dr. Debasis Das received a B.Sc. degree in Electronic Science in 2009 from the University of Calcutta, India, M.Sc. degree in Electronic Science in 2011, M.Tech. degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in 2013, from Jadavpur University, India. He has completed his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, India, in 2019. He has been working as a Research Fellow in the SEEDER group at the National University of Singapore since 2019. His research interests include the physics and simulation of spintronic-based nanoscale devices such as Magnetic Tunnel Junction, Skyrmion based devices, and its application in neuromorphic computation.

Cen Yunuo received his B.E. degree in Macromolecular Materials and Engineering from Shenzhen University (SZU) in 2020, and M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2021. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at NUS supervised by Asst. Prof. Xuanyao Fong (Kelvin). His research focuses on hardware-algorithm codesign for Ising machine and neuromorphic computing.

Li Sifan received his Bachelor’s degree in physics from University of Chinese Academy of Science (UCAS) in 2018. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at National University of Singapore (NUS) under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Ang Kah-Wee and Asst. Prof. Xuanyao Fong (Kelvin). His research focuses on 2-dimensional material based memristive devices and their applications for neuromorphic computing.

Thao received her Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2015. She is working towards a PhD at NUS under the guidance of Prof. Kelvin Fong and Prof. Bharadwaj Veeravalli. Her research interests include machine learning and neuromorphic computing.

Wang Jianze received his B.S. degree in Electronic Information Science and Technology from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 2019, and M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2020. He used to work on spiking neural network using GPU acceleration under Prof. Fong’s supervision.

Wang Yimin received his B.S. degree in Electronic Information Science and Technology in 2019 from Jilin University (JLU), China, and M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2022 from National University of Singapore (NUS). He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at NUS supervised by Prof. Xuanyao Fong (Kelvin). His research focuses on efficient hardware design for intelligent electronic systems, including spiking neural network accelerator and Ising machines.

Wu Zhen received his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in June 2022. He is working towards a Ph.D. at NUS under Prof. Kelvin Fong’s guidance. His research focus on microarchitectures for ultra-energy efficient domain-specific computing machines.
Zhang Wei received his B.Eng. degree as Excellent Graduate in Microelectronic Science and Engineering from Soochow University (SCU) in 2021, and M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2022. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at NUS supervised by Asst. Prof. Xuanyao Fong (Kelvin). His research focuses on modeling of ferroelectric memory devices for edge-AI system.
