Memory Technologies

Memory is an ubiquitous component of modern electronics. However, the von Neumann bottleneck and the Memory Wall are major challenges to improving energy efficiencies of electronic systems.

The SEEDER Group explores memory subsystems at every level of the design hierarchy, from device technology all the way up to the memory architecture and the applications of memories in electronic systems. Research topics along this research thrust include:

  • Devices and technologies for electronic memories
  • Circuit and hardware architecture design
