NUSย PEACE, which stands for People Ending Animal Cruelty and Exploitation, is an interest group affiliated with the National University of Singapore (NUS).
Established in 2006 by a few dedicated NUS students, they got together and decided to make a positive change in the world by fighting for the causes that they cared for. The idea that got us all excited was a simple one: To make the world a better place for animals.
Mission
NUS PEACE fosters the love and respect that all animals deserve through education, advocacy and action, by connecting with others in the community who care.
Vision
NUSย PEACE aims to be a strong voice for animals by addressing often neglected issues concerning pets, farm animals, laboratory animals, animals in entertainment and in the wild.
Subcommittees
- Cat Cafe
CatCafe is a network of NUS PEACE volunteers who work to protect our campus cats through sterilisation, responsible feeding and cat management. - Therapy Dogs Programme

Hi!
I’m actually interested in participating in volunteering activities, especially at dog shelters. However, i would not be able to make it for the one this weekend. Would it be possible to keep me updated for future such events?
Regards
Shannon
