Renovations at the Hon Sui Sen Memorial Library started in May 2010 and will be completed by 1 March 2011.

The main objective of the renovation was to conform to fire safety regulations. At the same time, we decided to upgrade the carpets and furnishings to create a more conducive environment.

We have converted the roof garden on level 3. Now, you will find our collection, discussion room area, ‘no-click’ quiet area and a new training room. Level 2 contains the reading floor and there will be power outlets at each seat. The bustle of activities will be at level 1. We have redesigned our counter in order to serve you better. The new infocommons area will have computer clusters, digital library terminals, audio-visual stations as well as network printers and copiers. We will also be setting up a relaxation corner by May 2011, at the basement.

Many thanks to the Business School, users and staff who were patient with the inconveniences during the renovation period. We hope this upgrading will bring smiles to you.
