Calling all animal lovers,

Run for Light is a global initiative with the aim of creating a community support network and to work towards a common goal of helping the less fortunate. The inaugural event in Singapore, a 5km night run, will be held on 17 January 2015.

Part of the proceeds from registration fees will be donated to the Guide Dogs Association of the Blind in Singapore (GDAB), dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for the blind and visually impaired in Singapore by pairing them with specially trained guide dogs. The dogs become their eyes, enabling them to enjoy greater mobility and freedom around their environment.

The organisers, Ideas Room Consulting, have kindly agreed to a discount scheme for NUS students, so do keep checking back regarding this interesting and meaningful event! More details will be shared about how to sign up once they are made available to us.
