Launch of TEL (Technology Enhanced Learning) Imaginarium

The TEL Imaginarium was officially launched last Friday on 19 Oct 2018. Using technology enhanced tools such as a mixed reality room, hololens, leap motion, projection mapping, amongst others, it enables learning and teaching to be immersive, effective and fun!

NUS President Professor Tan Eng Chye graced the launch and gave the opening speech, after touring the TEL Imaginarium. The brainchild of A/Prof Erle Lim (Associate Provost for Undergraduate Education), the space is a nucleus for experiential learning – using play to underscore deep and rich learning.

After Prof Tan’s speech, the guests moved on to experience what TEL Imaginarium has to offer. The room was abuzz with excitement as guests tried on the different VR equipment, manipulating virtual objects through Augmented Reality (AR) tools, and learning about drone, robotics, 3D printing technology and more.
