TNL received the latest NUS Libraries lanyard recently.
Lanyards are a nuisance for the old girl. Yanking her when it gets caught in drawers, around handles, knobs. Never quite staying still on her rather distorted short torso.
As she put this new one away in her drawer, she found the older ones.
And what a lot of them, there were.
The 1st NUS Libraries lanyard is the top most one. Then we went on to use a NUS blue one and then, back to NUS Libraries ones.
What brought back memories was the 1st lanyard. NUS Libraries was NUS Library then. That would have been in the late 1980s.
Ah yes, the late 1980s, 1990s … before TNL sold her soul…
I want to buy one of those but do not know where? Please let me know.
Unfortunately the NUS Library lanyards are not for sale. However, you could buy the NUS lanyards from NUS Coop, perhaps?
