Learning

I would like to feel that I am taking a break but when I find myself psych-ing myself into believing I am on a break, I know I am most definitely, absolutely without a shred of a doubt, not on a break.

Some thing’s been buzzing around the old noggin – how do you know whether you have learnt something that you have been taught?

I reckon the easiest and most painful way is when the teacher tests you. I like the other one where many years down the road, I would look back and say, “Wah, I was a real bodoh then but now, not so.” So tell me, how do we know whether our students learn the stuff we teach them? Or better still would they apply any of it ever? Dr S?
