The Singapore Writers Festival is an annual event that promotes Singapore and Asian writing to an international audience, enhancing discussions between writers and thinkers over 10 days. Widely regarded as one of Asia’s premier literary events, the festival is multi-lingual, celebrating works based on the four official languages of Singapore: English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil. The theme for this year’s festival is “A Language of our Own”.
