CHU Anne

Anne Chu is a 4th year PhD candidate at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore, specializing in physical activity and sedentary behavior research. Her focus has been on examining valid and reliable measures (self-report questionnaires, objective measures such as Fitbit), assessing the associations of physical activity and sedentary behavior with health outcomes in adults, and exploring effective interventions to reduce sedentary behavior and improve mental health. She has authored or co-authored 11 peer-reviewed research papers thus far. She has presented her research at conferences in South Africa, Canada, Thailand and Malaysia.
