Project Title: Continuous Observations of Behavioural Risk Factors in Asia (COBRA) study
Background
Continuous Observations of Behavioural Risk Factors in Asia (COBRA) is a digitally-enabled cohort study of 1500 middle-aged adults in Singapore. COBRA seeks to understand the interactions between lifestyle behaviours and environmental factors as they occur in real-life, and how these relate to health. COBRA uses wearable sensors (glucose sensors, accelerometers), smartphone app-based ecological momentary assessment (EMA) surveys, and spatial analysis continuously in real-life settings for 9 consecutive days, plus a follow-up 6 months later. Findings from the study are intended to inform the design of personalised lifestyle interventions to prevent chronic diseases.
