Google Chrome 88 incorrect time stamp glitch on Windows PCs, official workaround available
Google Chrome 88 introduced a bug that renders the time inaccurate when compared to what is displayed on the Windows PC on which the browser is installed.
Currently a workaround is available which will resolve this behavior. See steps below to complete the workaround:
- On your Windows device, open the settings application.
- Navigate to Date & time.
- Under Time zone, select a time zone different from your own.
- Under Time zone, reselect your original time zone.
Google are working on determining the root cause for this behavior, and a bug has been opened to investigate this. You may track the progress of the bug in Chromium bug tracker.

EduRec-related services in LumiNUS unavailable due to EduRec maintenance from Fri 25 Sep, 1800 hrs to Sun 27 Sep, 2000 hrs
Education Records System (EduRec) will undergo planned maintenance from Friday 25 September, 1800 hrs to Sunday 27 September, 2000 hrs (50 hours) for a database upgrade.
During this period, the following services in LumiNUS will be affected:
- Refresh from EduRec
- Students’ Modules Taken
Panopto AP Cloud scheduled downtime on Sat 15 Aug from 0100 to 0400 hrs
Panopto will undergo planned maintenance on Saturday 15 August from 0100 to 0400 hrs (3 hours).
Panopto, MediaWeb (including MediaWeb channels in LumiNUS Multimedia) and Web Lectures will be affected. You should expect up to 60 minutes of downtime, beginning at the start of the maintenance window.
Please avoid recording, processing or viewing media on Panopto, MediaWeb or Web Lectures during the scheduled maintenance.
