The Asian Genetic Epidemiology Network (AGEN) is a consortium of genetic epidemiology studies of type 2 diabetes (T2D) and cardiovascular disease (CVD) related phenotypes conducted among East Asian populations.

We aim to:
1. Discovery novel genetic loci by conducting genome-wide meta-analyses.
2. Facilitate replication among studies with similar phenotypes.
3. Follow-up discoveries of novel loci with additional genotyping.
