This is Not the End, This is Not the Beginning

Hi everyone!

Sadly, some things must come to an end. As we reached the final step of our journey together, let me provide you with the last quote.

“The only impossible journey is the one you never begin with.” – Tony Robbins

For the past ten weeks, I hope that my journey with you has given you insights on how our minds can be so drawn to Nature, yet we can be distant from each other. From the connections we have with Nature from the past, to the conservation efforts that signifies a hope that we are not going to give up on Earth.

Along this journey, I have learnt to cherish the presence of Nature around me and more of its pros should be utilised to reap the maximum benefits of our well-being (e.g. our mental health). I feel that the majority may still underestimate the purpose of the green spaces, for which they actually provide more than one could think of. Instead of exploiting them, we should see them as a source of hope for future generations to be inspired that there is more action that can be done in saving the remains of Nature that we hold dear to.

Currently, we are reaching nearly 6 million in the current population of our homeland (Worldometer, 2020)[1]. You might ask, is it possible to change everyone’s minds to the same purpose? My answer to you would be that in your entire life, it will be impossible to influence everyone about saving the environment. But, regardless of a small contribution, just start by spreading your ideas to those around you. You might not see the results you want, but you will see them one day if you just keep trying.

I appreciate every one of you who have followed me along this journey, and I hope you have learnt something along the way. Before I end here, I would like you to watch a video that will hopefully give you some takeaways in changing your mind for the better future. To further exploit or establishing reconnections with Nature? I will leave that decision to you. Your actions will be a reflection of the future.

Till then, I will see you next time!

Signing off,

Wee Meng
