Turnitin Service Alert – Wed 28 Mar, 2100 hrs to 2357 hrs

Users may have experienced an issue making a submission or viewing submissions within Turnitin Feedback Studio, which was down to a service disruption affecting the performance of Turnitin on Wednesday 28 March from 2100 hrs to 2357 hrs SGT.

Users may have been affected during the following times; 14:00 – 16:57 BST, 05:45 – 08.57 PDT, 23:00 – 01:55 (March 29th) AEST.

This would have prevented users from uploading papers to and accessing Turnitin Similarity Reports through IVLE and Turnitin.com.

The issue has been resolved by Turnitin.

Turnitin Service Alert – Tue 27 Mar, 1500 hrs to 1740 hrs

Users may have experienced issues viewing submissions within the Turnitin Feedback Studio. This was down to a service disruption affecting the performance of Turnitin on Tuesday 27 March from 1500 hrs to 1740 hrs SGT.

Users may have been affected during the following times; 08:00 – 10:40 BST, 00:00 – 02:40 PST, 17:00 – 19:40 AEST.

This would have prevented users from accessing Turnitin Similarity Reports through IVLE.

The root cause has been identified and resolved by Turnitin.

If you are still experiencing issues, please clear your browsers cookies and cache, restart the browser and try again.

The engineers have been busy and created a fix. You’ll need to clear your browser cache, but once you’ve done that everything should work again. We’re sorry for the interruption and inconvenience.

[REMINDER] Turnitin and iThenticate maintenance from Sat 17 Mar, 2300 hrs to Sun 18 Mar, 0600 hrs

Please be reminded of the scheduled Turnitin and iThenticate maintenance with the new timing: from Saturday 17 March, 2300 hrs to Sunday 18 March, 0600 hrs (7 hours).

Important
No submissions or grading will be possible through Turnitin or iThenticate during the maintenance period. You are advised to set submission deadlines outside of this maintenance window.

[UPDATED 1 March] Please note the revised timing.

Turnitin and iThenticate will not be available from Saturday 17 March, 2300 hrs to Sunday 18 March, 0600 hrs (7 hours) due to planned maintenance.

This is also applicable to Turnitin submission folders in IVLE.

This maintenance will include several hardware updates and performance improvement to ensure that services remain stable, particularly during high submission periods.

Where applicable, please be aware no submissions or grading will be possible through Turnitin or iThenticate during the maintenance period. You are advised to set submission deadlines outside of this maintenance window.
