Kheng Siang received his BSc specialising in Biomedical Sciences (with Second Upper Honours) from the National University of Singapore. He also spent a semester in San Diego as an Exchange Student at UCSD in addition to an Internship at the Eli Lilly Drug Discovery Centre in Singapore. For his PhD, Kheng Siang is studying the roles of brain derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), tropomyosin related kinase B (TrkB) receptor and cytokines in mild cognitive impairment and AD.
