Hi guys! This is going to be my last post on this blog. Only one semester of university has passed but life has already been so hectic. Nonetheless, thank you to everyone who has followed me on this short journey.
I saw this quote online that really summarizes up this blog experience, and want to share this with everyone:
“Innovation is not the result of chance, it’s the result of action. It’s not a thing to wait for. It’s a thing to do. ” – Phil Mckinney
Now imagine if we replace the word ‘Innovation’ with ‘Saving the Earth’. Through the 13 weeks of learning about our environmental crisis, I realize that the change to our Earth is always negatively associated with humans. While that is true, I still believe that we can turn it around for good.
The people and products featured in my blog posts inspire me, reminding me that for every single good or service that we consume, there will always be a better, cleaner, greener method of doing it. For many of us, we all possess different, amazing strengths, and if we all prioritize our Earth, who knows what kind of mindblowing innovations we could come up with!
With the increasing emphasis on conservation efforts and environmental awareness, more money is sure to be diverted to feasible and creative ideas that are environmentally friendly. I really do believe that people who have a passion for our Earth will have a fruitful future, knowing that their inventions are contributing effectively to humanity’s salvation.
People simply cannot afford to wait anymore, for our Earth needs our help. It is not just innovations anymore, but iYESnations.
