Background and current projects

I am currently pursing a part-time masters, looking at dark extinctions of freshwater species both locally and globally. Apart from my graduate studies, I am a research assistant with the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum, assisting with the database management of “SIGNIFY: A Digital Archive of Singapore’s Historical Biodiversity”, which aims to archive and build a bibliographic database of species described from Singapore.

Previously, I have worked on a non-native database of animal species in Singapore and Southeast Asia, and in my undergraduate days, worked on the introduction of the greenhouse frog (Eleutherodactylus planirostris) in Singapore.
