Background and current projects
For my honours year project, I studied the introduction of the greenhouse frog (Eleutherodactylus planirostris), looking at its distribution, population structure, and diet across Singapore.
Currently, I am a research assistant with the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum, working on a digital humanities project “Linking the Digital Humanities to Biodiversity History in Singapore and Southeast Asia“. This project seeks to consolidate information from published historical documents, to consolidate natural history records of floral and fauna within Indomalaya. My role for the project includes the construction and management of the fauna database. Moving forward, I will be assisting with the database management of “SIGNIFY: A Digital Archive of Singapore’s Historical Biodiversity”, which aims to archive and build a bibliographic database of species described from Singapore.
