The Ateneo de Manila University is pleased to share with you the new Philippine Studies Immersion Program, which will be held during the Intersession in June and July 2018.
The Philippine Studies Immersion Program will allow students to immerse themselves in a particular aspect of the Philippine lifeworld. They will be able to engage with fellow foreign and local students of Philippine studies in order to get to know the possibilities and opportunities of their chosen areas. The program will run for four to six weeks, taking place between June 6, 2018 to July 14, 2018.
There will be four tracks offered under the program: The Ateneo Development Field School, The Cultural Laboratory, Filipino Urbanities, and The Philippine Start Up Culture. Each track will offer six (6) units or credits. The first part of the program will be held inside the classroom, and the second part conducted in the field.
Please note that nomination deadlines are on March 30, 2018. All initial documents should be submitted by April 30, 2018. Kindly see the attachments below for more information.
Please feel free to contact Mr. Jayson G. Cervantes at jcervantes@ateneo.edu should you need additional information about the program.
