Hello, this is Saemi Seong, the PR manager of NEAN2011 from Yonsei University. We recognize that Yonsei University and your school has a tight established academic tie via exchange programs for outstanding students of each school. We are glad to be in partnership with the talented students of your school. We mailed you since we wanted connection to the students of National University of Singapore.

To introduce us, NEAN is for Northeast Asian Network, which is an international student forum annually hosted by students of Yonsei University under Yonsei Leadership center since 2002. It is one of the biggest, purely student organized conferences in the world, dealing with issues on Asia and facilitating global future leaders. Students from 24 countries and over 60 universities have participated in NEAN until now on. Furthermore, 152 speakers have graced the occasion, including the late Kim Dae Jung, the 16th president of Korea and Abdul Kalam, the president of India. Our conference intends to offer all the participants the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and understanding upon various Asian issues, cultivate international leadership, not to mention friendship between delegates from all over the world.

Session 5: Energy – The Development and utilization of Sustainable Energy in Northeast Asia

We are looking for prestigious students to participate the upcoming NEAN2011 forum. Any undergraduate student interested in sharing their views and ideas and from various cultural backgrounds is welcome. The upcoming conference intends to offer all the participants the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and understanding upon various issues regarding Asia and environment, cultivate international leadership, not to mention friendship between delegates from all over the world. All delegates will be given a magnificent opportunity to listen to the voices of eminent keynote speakers and government officials from various fields and nationalities. Diverse academic and cultural activities following the lectures including city tour, culture night and gala night would lead students to the world of creativity – a distinctive element which differentiates NEAN from other forums.

    Can I just check? Will IRO be providing any subsidies if students plan to attend this conference?
