The Japan and Exchange Teaching (JET) Programme is one of the largest exchange programmes in the world that invites foreign youths to Japan as Assistant Language Teachers (ALT) and Coordinators for International Relations (CIR) in order to enhance mutual understanding between Japan and their home nations.
Since 1987, the JET Programme has welcomed more than 64,000 participants from 65 countries including Singapore.
