Internship Matching with Japanese Companies for International Students

ENMUSUBi is a job hunting event specially catered to international students with the aim of promoting their employment in Japan. With the recent Asia Business Creation (ABC) Platform organized by the Kansai Economic Federation beginning this year, many top-rated companies and international students have come on board to participate in this event.

ENMUSUBi hopes to serve as a platform for connecting businesses with educational institutions and their students, by creating opportunities for matching employers and potential employees.

This year, ENMUSUBi will be holding an internship matching session via Skype between international students residing/studying outside Japan and Japanese businesses!!

Students will be interviewed by the hiring companies via Skype

Internship Period

Negotiable depending on your university’s academic calendar (Internship during semester breaks is possible)*

*at least 2 weeks are required for internship

Internship Salary/Remuneration

min 1000 yen/hr, 8hr/day

Air tickets and accommodation reimbursements will not be provided*

*However, negotiations to provide interns with assistance in looking for accommodation are ongoing

Job Overview: 

Working together with our global team at Sankyo Frontier, the Marketing Executive/ Business Strategist is responsible for assisting with marketing activities, creating business plans and strategy in the global market. As the face of the company, you would be required to manage relationships with clients and business partners.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • The creation and execution of plans and strategies to grow Sankyo Frontier globally.
  • Working with top management at the Japanese headquarters on business strategies.
  • Working together and maintaining relationships with partners and clients.
  • Visiting customers for sales globally.
  • Researching on the market trends and related businesses.
  • Assisting staff with other necessary tasks.
  • Travelling and working abroad to set-up and operate overseas bases is required.

Qualifications:

Job Overview: 

Working together with our global team at Sankyo Frontier, the General Affairs and Accounting Executive would work to support the employees, business partners and clients. As a key team player, your aim is to improving the relationships between employees and stakeholders.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • The management of general affairs, accounting, and submitting monthly financial reports for Sankyo Frontier’s Singaporean Branch.
  • Assisting in customer and business-partner relationship management.
  • The management of incoming/ outgoing mails and answering of phone calls.
  • The preparation of documents for proposals, meetings and submissions.
  • Assisting staff with other necessary tasks, such as recruitment and sourcing for meeting and event locations.
  • Travelling may be required.

The Structural Engineer/ Civil Engineer/ Architectural Designer would be able to conceptualize and actualize building projects together with various departments in the company and with local authorities.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • The drafting and design of architectural projects using Sankyo Frontier’s products.
  • Working with the R&D team at the Japanese headquarters on product development.
  • Working together with professional engineers and the Building and Construction Authority to gain approval for building projects.
  • Researching on the building and construction laws in Singapore and other countries.
  • Assisting staff with other necessary tasks.
  • Travellng is required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering or other related fields.
  • Prior Working Experience: No experience required.
  • Language Skills: English (Working proficiency).
