We are the publisher of AsiaX, the One-and-Only Complimentary Japanese Business Paper in Singapore.
AsiaX provides the useful information for Japanese companies and people in Singapore and South East Asia by printing, web, and e-newsletter.
It covers the business topics as well as other areas such as legal or tax topics in this region.
For Japanese people residing in Singapore, AsiaX is the business paper that carries the information they would like to get the most.
As our business is expanding, we’ve been working on English publication on Japan and e-publication to be launched later part of 2013.

Job Category
1. Sales & Marketing

• Consulting sales of advertisements on AsiaX to local, international and Japanese companies to market their products and services.
• Sales representatives will give presentations to various business owners and executives in any companies.

2. Editor/writer

• Selecting, reviewing & arranging material for publication.
• Brief the design department, and work closely with sales & marketing team.
• Independently going out to conduct interviews and attend press conference to write articles for our publications.

3. Designer

• Design layout of AsiaX and eye catching advertisements.
• Supply artworks for campaigns and advertising materials such as posters and leaflets.
• Arrange photo shoots for covers, carry out picture research.

Location
Singapore

Salary
Depending on ability and experience.

Eligibility
Singaporean, PR holder or Japanese (possible to apply EP) with 2-3 years of relevant working experience.

Language Requirements
Fluent in English, and communication level of Japanese preferred (JLPT N5-N1).

Other Requirements

• job category 1:  Experience is not necessary. Willingness to learn and challenge.
• job category 2:  Experience is preferred. Self-motivated and disciplined.
• job category 3: Ability to command design software such as Adobe illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and etc for a designer. Experience on DTP is welcomed but can be trained
