One of the assessments in my course is the group sustainability project, which requires students to work in small groups to develop a vision for a sustainable future. Basically, they have to identify a sustainability problem, propose a novel solution and present it effectively (i.e., ‘pitch’ it) in a forum that aims to somewhat replicate a trade show or sustainability fair. This year’s fair takes place on 8 November 2017 (see flier below) and is open to the public. Please feel free to come meet our first-year students and see their work. Perhaps you may even be inspired to think about how you can contribute to the goal of sustainability.
