Welcome to Lai Lab’s blog.nus site. Our laboratory is located on Level 9 of the Centre for Translational Medicine (CeTM), also known as Block MD6 (see below for full address and a map). Please see the following for directions when visiting us using the various modes of transport:

By Taxi / Car

On the Ayer Rajar Expressway (AYE), take Exit 8, follow the signs for “National University Hospital” and head to Lower Kent Ridge Road (via Buona Vista Flyover if you came from the West). Then, turn left into Medical Drive (just before the Dentistry Building) and alight at the roundabout to your right. CeTM does not have parking facilities and the closest public carpark (Carpark “10”) is located opposite the Dentistry Building along Lower Kent Ridge Road.

By Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) trains

The closest MRT station is Kent Ridge (Circle Line CC24) which exits to Lower Kent Ridge Road. From there head to the bus stop right outside the station and take SBS Bus No. 95 or one of the free internal shuttle buses and alight at the bus stop just beside Lecture Theatre 28, right after the Dentistry Building. From there it’s a 500 meters walk to CeTM.

By Bus

The closest bus stop is along Lower Kent Ridge Road, just beside Lecture Theatre 28, right after the Dentistry Building. It is served by SBS Bus No. 95, which plies through Kent Ridge Terrace, Clementi Road and Holland Village. From there it’s a 500 meters walk to CeTM.
