Welcome to the Mechanics and Physics of Advanced Manufacturing group led by Assistant Professor YAN Wentao.
The research objectives of YAN group are:
- develop computational models for advanced manufacturing
- perform “virtual experiments” to replace most of actual experiments
- understand the fundamental mechanical and physical mechanisms
- provide guidance for design, control and optimization of the manufacturing process.
