Senior Research Scientist with Temasek Laboratories @ NUS

Background

Dr. Theng-Huat Gan received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2015. His thesis is on the Advances in Unconditionally Stable Finite-Difference Time-Domain Methods for Electromagnetic Compatibility and Antenna Modeling.

He joined TL@NUS as a Senior Research Scientist in June 2020, where his current research interest is in various antenna designs.

Previously he was with DSO National Laboratories as a Senior Member of Technical Staff, where he was involved in the development of space-borne antennas for XSAT, which was launched in 2011.

He was also the coordinator and lecturer for the World of Science (Electromagnetic) programme, and he also mentored several interns under the Young Defence Scientist Programme (YDSP).
