We are privileged to have NUS Vice Provost (Masters’ Programmes & Lifelong Education) and Dean of the School of Continuing & Lifelong Education (SCALE) Professor Susanna Leong join us for this episode. 

In a previous interview in August 2018, Professor Leong provided an overview of how NUS embarked on its Continuing Education and Training (CET) and lifelong learning initiatives. In this podcast, Professor Leong talks about how NUS has continued to proactively deliver CET and lifelong learning initiatives which emphasise multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary education which equip learners with the capacity and industry-relevant skill sets to thrive in an increasingly complex and uncertain world. Some of the initiatives she shares in this conversation include:

• Postgraduate programmes like the Master of Science in Industry 4.0, Master of Science in Venture Creation, Master of Science in Data Science and Machine Learning, Master of Science in Digital Financial Technology and more.
• Short courses and stand-alone modular programmes in the NUS Lifelong Learners and NUS CET500 catalogue
• Lifelong learning pathways for working adults through initiatives like Advance@NUS and the Career Conversion Programme (CCP)
• Opportunities to attain postgraduate certificates in a range of subject areas including data science, marketing and communications, engineering, business management, and more.
