I thought I’d like to just do a short post on Formula E, mainly to build up to my next post.

This is a fantastic short 2 minute video that does all the talking for me and explains how Formula E is committed to addressing air pollution, sustainability and zero waste which I highly recommend you to watch.

I’d like to point out that this goes beyond just the technical aspects of the cars, and mentions broader concepts such as spreading awareness about climate change, in the form of sport. One of the points mentioned that I really like is that the venues for the races are usually hosted in big cities, where electric vehicles are being encouraged and this event helps amplify that.

This video in 2016 was about how Formula E made its debut in Marrakesh, together with the then biggest climate change and sustainability conference in the world, helping to push the image of Formula E as the environmental voice in sport.
