We are the Semiconductor & Emerging Electronic Devices Exploratory Research (SEEDER) Group.
At SEEDER group, we believe in pushing the frontiers of sustainable electronic computational systems to improve the human condition. To achieve our objectives, we approach our research in a top-down and bottom-up manner to uncover holistic solutions that consider interactions between computing paradigms, hardware microarchitectures, circuit designs and device technologies. Leveraging on our systems-technology co-optimization (STCO) expertise, we explore various topics to push the envelope of energy efficiency in electronic systems, including and not limited to:
- Algorithm-microarchitecture co-design for domain-specific computing paradigms (biologically-inspired, Ising, probabilistic)
- Non-volatile electronics (logic, memory)
- Novel device technologies (2D materials, spintronics, ferroX and anti-ferroX)
- Device/circuit modeling and co-simulation strategies
The SEEDER group was established on December 2016 in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and is directed by Asst. Prof. Kelvin Fong.
