South Asian Perspectives’ is an attempt to gather the research scholars in NUS across different disciplines to engage in and debate on South Asia. The conference aims at understanding South Asia both as a concept and method. It also aims at collaborating and engaging with the multiple perspectives that emerge from researching South Asia such as borderlands, fiction, state, religion, marriage, diaspora, ecology, economy, policy, media and many more.
