The NUS Department of Psychology heartily congratulates the Class of 2022!
After two years of disruptions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, NUS held its Commencement ceremonies in-person to celebrate the milestone achievements of graduates from the Class of 2022. In a ceremony that showcased the Commencement traditions and pageantry, Psychology graduands were conferred their degrees at the University Cultural Centre on 7 July 2022 (Thursday).
NUS President, Professor Tan Eng Chye, said,
For the class of 2022, COVID has been a defining experience during your time in NUS. You have discovered, indelibly, how fraught and precarious our circumstances can be, and how unexpected developments across the world can leave individuals and communities vulnerable. But you have also witnessed, and contributed towards, a resilient and responsive NUS community, one that has demonstrated itself to be adaptable, cohesive, and resolved. I am grateful and proud of how everyone has played a part in rallying the NUS community, supporting each other, and adapting to difficult and fluid circumstances.”
The webcast of the ceremony will be hosted on YouTube during Commencement 2022.
Congratulations to all our graduands on your accomplishments! We are very proud of all of you, and wish you every success and fulfilment ahead as you begin a new chapter of your life!
