Apart from providing a range of services to children and their families, the Singapore Children’s Society also recognises the importance of conducting good research that could guide practice.

Children’s Society provides research grants for students carrying out research on issues related to family, children, and youth at the Undergraduate, Honours, or Postgraduate levels. The grant given to each successful study at the Undergraduate or Honours level could be up to $1,000, while applicants pursuing Postgraduate degrees may be considered for a higher quantum.

There are three application windows for the research grant: January to February, May to June and September to October. The September to October application window is now open from 1st September to 31st October 2019.
