Leading industry partners and representatives from the academia, media, translation and technology sectors will be sharing their views and visions on translation, languages, and localisation for multilingual communities in Singapore at the National Translation Committee’s (NTC) 10th Anniversary Conference.
Themed “Connecting Communities through Translation– Past, Present, and Future”, the NTC 10th Anniversary Conference aims to chart a course for the continued growth of the industry by exploring emerging trends in translation and methods to better harness the power of technology.
The National Translation Committee is celebrating its 10th Anniversary since its inception, with our year-long celebratory activities culminating in this Conference.
Translation is a bridge that connects Singapore’s multilingual and multicultural society and fosters deeper appreciation for our shared identity.
Recognising this importance, the National Translation Committee (NTC), established in 2014 under the Ministry of Digital Development and Information, has played a vital role in enhancing translation standards, fostering collaboration among public, private, and individual sectors to address translation-related challenges, and nurturing the next generation of translation talents.
