Job qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with Honors in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant area. Preference will be given to holders of a Master’s degree in the relevant area;
- Excellent command of English;
- Experience in any of the relevant fields (machining, material characterization techniques, additive manufacturing); and
- Background in engineering design software (e.g. SolidWorks, Autodesk, etc.)
Job scope:
- Conduct experiments/simulations under the supervision of the PI and RFs;
- Deliver timely results on unfiltered and processed data for roundtable discussions;
- Generate images for slide decks, publications, and other dissemination avenues;
- Provide assistance to PhD candidates and undergraduate researchers in their experimental/simulation work;
- Take charge of administrative tasks in the group (e.g., purchase orders, machine tool maintenance).
