STUDENT’S PASS APPLICATION

The school will provide the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA), Singapore with your basic information. However, you may expect to receive an email to complete the application form via the ICA website.

Here’s an easy step-by-step guide on the Student’s Pass application process:

Step 1: Complete eForm-16 and pay application fee. Please refer to this link for instructions.

Step 2: Wait for the IPA letter.

Step 3: When you receive notification of IPA letter, download and print the letter to carry with you when you enter Singapore.

Step 4:  You may choose to pay for the issuance fee immediately upon notification of application approval or pay for it when you arrive in Singapore.

Step 5: Make an e-appointment* with ICA to complete formalities. The e-appointment link is found here: https://eservices.ica.gov.sg/ibook/index.do 

Step 6: When you arrive in Singapore, visit ICA at the appointment time, preferably 15 mins before appointment time so that you will be served promptly.  Bring along the following documents:

  • IPA letter
  • Passport with a valid Social Visit Pass
  • Disembarkation & Embarkation card (IMM 27) – a white immigration card in your passport
  • Signed print-out of eForm 16 from the SOLAR system
  • Medical report, X-ray and HIV report (must be in English)
  • 2 passport-sized photographs

Step 7: You will receive your student pass from ICA either on the same day or the next day.

Notes:

  • Kindly ensure that your e-appointment is scheduled within your Social Visit Pass’ validity. To confirm the date, check the date stamp on your disembarkation card when you arrive in Singapore.
