NUS Libraries’ EndNote Team will conduct one lecture and two hands-on training sessions for basic EndNote X3, for the teaching/research staff and students of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and the School of Design and Environment.
EndNote is a software that:
– stores and organizes citations found from many sources
– inserts these citations into a Word document
– automatically formats your references according to your predefined citation style
Details of the sessions are as follows:
|Lecture||24 Mar (Wed)||10am-12pm||Central Library Theatrette 1, Level 4|
|Hands-on Session 1||30 Mar (Tues)||Central Library Training Room, Level 6|
|Hands-on Session 2||31 Mar (Wed)||Central Library Training Room, Level 6|
The materials covered in the lecture and hands-on sessions are the same, except that you will have access to a computer during the hands-on sessions. If you are bringing your own laptop, please install the latest version of EndNote X3 at least one day in advance. Note: If you have attended any EndNote X2 sessions, it is not necessary to attend these sessions, as the contents remain largely the same.
Click on the above sessions to register. The sessions are free but seats are limited on a first-come-first-served basis. If you have any queries regarding the sessions, please contact us at email@example.com.
See you there!
