LIGHT – Leadership Institute for Global Health Transformation is part of the Global Health Office of the NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health (SSHSPH)
LIGHT is the outward-facing unit for Global Health at SSHSPH, actively working to consolidate and forge new regional partnerships with governments, academia, local communities and non-governmental organisations, with the purpose of transforming health development and disease prevention in a cross-disciplinary and cross-geographical manner.
Activities undertaken by LIGHT with its international partners and collaborators include researching and writing policy and academic papers on specific topics of interest, and the organisation of executive training programmes for current and future leaders in healthcare and beyond.
LIGHT also aims to be a platform to encourage collaborative learning and sharing of experiences across Asia, drawing from experts at SSHSPH as well as our local and regional partners
