The studio works criticize a social condition in which grandiose landscape projects in some cities ignore the needs and conditions of a huge social underclass. Landscapes for these people should address some fundamental issues of livelihood. Much of this work is in progress with two ongoing publications. The work has led to four studio books, one consultation, and four built projects.
