The Chicago Style
The following content is referenced from Easybib’s page. The Chicago citation style is probably the “classic” citation style of history essays–no history research paper is complete without it. This style is generally used for scholarly publications, and can be done two ways: (1) Notes and bibliography style or (2) Author-date style. The table below describes the difference between the two:
