SUStech-NUS Joint PhD Student (Year 4)
Chenyu has obtained her BSc in Bioinformatics from Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), Shenzhen, China. She joined the Ge lab as a PhD student in Aug 2019. Her PhD research topic is quantitative study on insulin response threshold and how it determines body composition. She is interested in directed evolutin combined with machine learning, synthetic biology applied in human diseases like obesity and diabetes. Apart from research, Chenyu likes playing Pingpong, hiking and reading.
