Associate Professor Dr Ruowen Ge – Principal Investigator
Ruowen Ge obtained her BSc in Genetics from Nankai University, Tianjin, China; Ph.D. in Molecular Cell Biology from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA. After postdoctoral training at Lederle Laboratories (now Pfizer) and Roche Institute of Molecular Biology (Roche), she joined the Department of Biological Sciences, NUS as an assistant professor in 1996. In 2003, she became a tenured associate professor at the same department. She is a scientific co-founder of the NUS spin-off company ProTherapeutics Pte Ltd. She has published more than 80 research papers and holds 3 patents. She is currently on the editorial board of the journals Scientific Reports (Nature publishing) and Cancers (MDPI).
